A Money Grab

Like many others who have reviewed previously, I would also caution against insuring your pet with this company. My 2 year old Pomeranian was in need of emergency care and the whole claim was denied due to the fact a vet years ago had looked at his paws as a matter of routine observation. Nothing wrong, no treatment. Two days ago, he had a minute piece of shell wedged in between his toes. Painful, but easily rectified for $578CAN. The claim with PPU was denied immediately. I am OUT.

Grateful!

Our cat, Prince, was diagnosed around 2019 with kidney failure. Dr. Soliman and her staff have helped us keep him alive, thriving, and happy all these years. We are grateful for this knowledgeable, well-connected, and caring Veterinarian.

Very Disappointing

We have been with pets plus us since our dog was a puppy - she is now 10. no major claims. Of the ones that I've submitted lately, no reimbursements were issued. They take co-pay amounts out first to reduce the amount that can be used against deductible...making it harder to reach your deductible obligations - meaning that the $500 deductible is only eliminated after 6 or 700 in claims. so bottom line: over $1400 per year in payments plus $6-700 deductible and copay nonsense means over $2000 per year and still no sign of reimbursement. I'm very disappointed in the service to date and would never sign on with them again. I'm definitely not signing my new puppy up with them.

Please don't waste your time.

I was forced to go with the company after they bought out PC insurance. I have been with them for 11 years and 3 animals. They recently raised my price over $150 dollars per month/per pet. The reason? because I was paying a low amount! They stated I could change my policy but nothin pre-existing would be covered. How they consider anything pre-existing, I don't know as THEY'RE my insurance provider. I refuse to give another greedy company money. So disappointed in the money hungry practices.

Supbar coverage

They do not cover any dental surgery. It doesn't matter to them how bad it is - even though it's a standard coverage for most good insurances. accerssing their portal is very problematic. To this day I couldn't access it. They changed their system nd made it worse. Save yourself some patience, time, and the money and pay out of pocket. Or get any other insurance. If you have a domestic cat, they are not worth it.
