Love is Life Veterinary Clinic

Love Is Life is the best vet clinic I have ever been to. I have had cats & dogs for over 35 years, seen various vets, and the bed side manner, veterinary care and overall kindness from the staff was overwhelming. I took my my cat Clyde here to have his eye removed due to cancer, and although it was scary to put him through that, the wonderful people at Love Is Life were very reassuring. I knew they were putting Clyde's well being first and that meant everything to me. You will not regret bringing your pets here, I promise!

I cannot thank this clinic enough for saving my dog’s life. After being quoted an amount that was completely out of reach for me at another emergency hospital, I had almost lost all hope. This clinic gave us a chance. They provided excellent care, performed her surgery at a price I could actually afford, and treated my dog Bella with so much compassion and professionalism. From the moment we arrived, the staff was kind, understanding, and truly cared about helping her. Because of them, Bella is back home recovering, and I have hope again. I will never forget what they did for us. If you’re looking for a veterinary clinic that genuinely cares about animals and the people who love them, I wholeheartedly recommend this place. They saved our baby! After a stressful night at MSCPA being quoted 13k + for an obstruction surgery and denied any help due to finances, we got lucky and found this place. They offered to do the surgery at a MUCH more affordable price. As it turned out he had FIP, and the “obstruction” was fluid buildup from the deadly virus. We worked relentlessly for months, but he is cured and thriving! We are eternally grateful to the vets here for saving us from heartbreak. They gave our little kitten the chance to grow up, play, and eat all the food his now plump little survivor butt could need.

We had such a wonderful experience with this place. I called in tears on the verge of giving up my beloved boys. They were fighting nonstop and one was urinating all over my entire house out of stress. I asked for the soonest available appointment, which was about A month out. We waited a month and hoped that neutering the boys would assist in some behavioral quelling. The vet that I spoke with initially was so kind and caring about my boys, She offered fantastic advice and even had told me that I shouldn’t really have adopted to from the same Which I had never heard before. She was very upfront that it may not solve all our issues, but it could make an impact. Once it came around and the day came Not only was I completely pleased with the service the boys were given, but the care that was established while they were there. The friend who drove them commented on how clean and sanitary the environment looked. She was also very pleased with the way they acted with the boys when she dropped them off. When we got them back, we got instructions on how to post care for them. I did call the day after concerned that one of my guys had pulled some stitches. They offered for me to send a picture and that they would take a look.. The office got back to me, almost instantaneously, and assured me that he was looking good. We are now almost one month postop and the boys are doing fantastic. They still fight at times, but the peeing around the house has not happened and their attitudes have definitely calmed down towards each other. I’m so grateful of the care that they received and that will be able to keep the two boys.

My experience was not so great, unfortunately. I took my dog, who was 10, to get a bladder stone removal surgery. Tufts Grafton recommended them because the price was low. Upon arriving, nothing was explained as to what they were going to do to him, how long surgery would be, anything. I asked a ETA to surgery and they told me I could be waiting until 5-6. They grabbed him, made me sign an authorization form, and sent me on my way. I had to call to get an update on what was going on and it turned out my dog was currently in surgery. I asked an ETA and what occurs post-op (they wait an hour to call you post-op). Finally, I went and picked him up (he also smelled like a dog peed on him after I got him back). I asked questions pertaining to his care because I didn’t feel prepared by them. The next night, my dog starts panting hard. I called another vets office, as it was around 8 pm, and explained what was going on. They told me the gabapentin dosage was too low and that he was probably in a lot of pain. I rushed him to VEG where they did confirm that the dosage was too low. However, he was in shock. They said it was from internal bleeding. He did not make it. Now, I want to strongly add here- this is my story and I am NOT blaming Love is Life. I’m sharing what happened. It could have been a combination of things that happened, it could have been malpractice, it could have been that he was just old. I don’t know how or why he was internally bleeding but I wanted to share this, in hopes Love is Life sees this and can prevent the turn-and-burn method they showed me. I’m hoping they can slow down and make their clients feel like they’re important and they’re people. I hope they can be more careful, attentive, or change something to prevent this.
