I would rate 0 starts if it was possible Sonnet are a bunch of crooks. They will increase your policy without any warning. No Email, no phone call etc. They are a repugnant company that has terrible customer service and will charge you twice as much as other insurance companies. Please take your business elsewhere, anywhere!! They deserve to sink.

Pawsome service!
Our furbaby Duchess, a young cat, had an infected laceration on her nose, plus she was running a high fever. I called Trupanion while I was stressed at the ER vet. They were so wonderful. Made everything so easy as to sending in a claim. Plus extremely friendly, and helpful!

Stay away from Sonnet
I wouldn’t recommend this company because they have poor customer service when it comes to settling claims. I was in accident in Sept. I was asked to return the rental 3 weeks later with an offer which they gave me. I provided them with an invoice of repair done in the past 6 months and it took them 1 month to get back to me. The excuse was that they couldn’t get a hold of my mechanic. I had requested they call me at 1pm due to work but they would call me around 11am anyways and leave a message. It looked like they called me earlier so that they would avoid talking to me at 1pm about the invoice I gave them for my vehicle repairs. At the end I realize that they will not accept my invoice and they are just wasting time so I settled and moved on. Won’t recommend this company and if you do, you need a lot of patience. Hope this helps.

I signed up with Healthypaws based on recommendations from friends and my dog's vet. they processed my claims quickly and fairly and kept me as a satisfied customer. I recommend getting pet insurance and Healthypaws for that.

A friend recommended Trupanion and now…
A friend recommended Trupanion and now I’d like to do the same for anyone considering pet insurance. Our very first experience with Trupanion was exceptional. Our little “Muffin” ate a grape (I must have dropped them) and we called our vet emergency department. They said to bring her in as she was only 3 months old and weighed 5 pounds. She had to stay in hospital for 2 days, and of course the bill kept adding up. When it was time to bring her home, all eligible costs were covered by Trupanion, even though we had been members for only 3 weeks. My carelessness was classified as an accident and we were fully covered. Thank you, Trupanion!

Unaffordable as soon as your dog’s age
I have been a customer with PetsBest for over 12 years. I have 3 dogs. The first few years the cost of the plan is reasonable. However, the older your dog gets the more expensive the plan becomes. In addition, there is a cap on the amount you can claim per dog. Going into my next annual plan, my premium is so high that I will receive almost nothing in claims ie premium is $9600/yr with a max claim of $15K per year. My premium is going up $200/mo for the new year. If I had known that they were going to price me out of the plan just when my dogs are old enough to need it, I never would have started with them. This is more or less a scam unless your dog gets sick when they are young. Definitely DO NOT recommend!
