I want to give a shout out to Adam Altman
I want to give a shout out to Adam Altman he was super attentive, understanding and calming. He was able to make a very stressful situation into a easy solution. Was able to solve my problem with ease and was willing to listen and answer any concerns I had with my policy even though I may have been a little talkative. Adam definitely deserves the recognition for what he does everyday and genuinely seems happy to do so. Five stars!!

I do not recommend. Borderline scam.
I owned a Healthy Paws policy for several years and rarely ever got a dime back from them. There are absolutely better choices out there. Their deductibles are ridiculous and they do not cover wellness at all. They also raise premiums regularly. I would not recommend Healthy Paws to anyone.

Claim to be there for your pets.
What a joke of an insurance company. Been paying $190/month for over two years for two Dachshunds. Enrolled when one had IVDD and the second had no previous issues. When the second dog recently had IVDD, Trupanion did a deep dive into his previous vet records three years back which showed an incidental X-RAY from when he was hospitalized for eating trail mix that showed calcification of a disk; even though the treating Vet noted on the X-Ray report he had no signs of IVDD and was not treated for it. Trupanion claims they are a caring company but really when it comes down to actually helping you out they just go and find any way they can to get out of helping you when you need it. I submitted an appeal for the coverage with the help of the treating Vet for the X-RAY and was told by a Trupanion representative that if it wasn't for the incidental X-RAY comments, the surgery would have been covered. They won’t even consider looking at all the underlying factors here. Don’t waste your money with Trupanion, your just a number.

Best coverage for lowest price. I wish they would cover spaying/neutering. Also, I wish the coverage for wellness visits exceeded $150.00 per year.

I don't know what I would do without Pets Best
I don't know what I would do without Pets Best insurance when my dog was diagnosed with cardiac failure. I am on a tight budget and would have to decide whether to pay rent or save my dog. She has ongoing medical problems and needs to be on medication for the rest of her life. Without them I would either be homeless or have to put my dog down. They have been pretty quick with reimbursement so that I still have money for other necessary bills.
