They raised the rate 23% after the first year for a healthy puppy! Gross!! I spoke with a rep and was informed that if you put in claims, the rate goes up. We looked over mine and she agreed that the dental preventative (removed 11 teeth from a teacup poodle during her spay b/c she's so little and we don't want to put her to sleep for dental work regularly) contributed to the increase even though it was a one off. I asked her to have the underwriters review the notes more clearly and she said it's impossible. They will never review again (so human error means nothing to them). Don't use Fetch - with annual increases this high -won't be worth it in a few years. UPDATE Fetch did get in touch after a few days but it's been a colossal waste of time. I was told that they'd try to get the underwriters to review the policy (and look more closely at the notes as they'd incorrectly deemed my pet has conditions she does not) but couldn't promise anything and alas, they wouldn't review it. So Fetch doesn't take their errors into consideration. Fetch rebranded - they used to be called PETPLAN. Read those reviews to get a more accurate picture of the company, their integrity (lack of), and service before deciding on this company.

Really straightforward to use
Really straightforward to use. No hassle. Customer service is really good. I haven't had to make a claim with them but I will update the review if that happens.

Satisfied customer
Your website is good but required me to call to get somethings clarified. It was somewhat difficult for this 68 year old navigate. The person I got on the phone was great and able to answer my questions.

Not as good as Trupanion
Submitted a claim for my cat, who was treated for fever, vomiting, & dehydration. They’re requesting medical records going back 2 YEARS. Anything to deny a claim I guess! My other cat came from a breeder with Trupanion, my experience with them has been much better. No requesting multiple years worth of medical records when I submitted a claim, no BS.

Buy and renew
I bought this insurance at the same time I bought my puppy. Unfortunately I had to make an emergency visit within the first month. I thought I would see a big rate hike due to this early incident but my worries were unfounded. They even paid for his recent issues with his anal glands. They have made everything so easy, fast, and convenient. Great communication. My dog has just turned two and we are definitely keeping our insurance. Thank you to the Fetch team.

Lacklustre Customer Service
Their customer service is very disappointing. They do not make it easy to get in contact with. I sent a message on their website when I was logged into my account. It said someone would reply in one business day but no one ever replied. I reached out on Facebook where thankfully someone quickly replied but they didn't even address my concerns at all. They simply gave me a phone # to call. A phone # should be listed under their "contact us" on their website. There is only the option to leave a message. I should not have to go through another means just to get their phone #. To me this feels like they don't want people calling. When I called no one picked up. After inputting my account info and personal details a recording said to wait for the next available assistant. So I waited but it was dead silent. There wasn't even any hold music to indicate that I was waiting for someone. So I had no idea if someone would be there eventually to assist me. After a while of dead silence I gave up. I called again and thankfully someone did pick up and my problem was resolved. Overall, a very frustrating customer service experience that wasted my time and energy. I will be moving on to another insurance company for my insurance needs.
