I will be waiting to see if MetLife grants the contribution, compensation according to the purchased policy. This is my first claim.

Overall I recommend
I love the policy that I have and it’s turned out to be a blessing with the puppy we adopted who is inclined to eat things she shouldn’t. I love that it covers 100% accident and prevention. Customer service has been friendly.
What I would like to see is (1) if they say a drug will be approved with a vets prescription, please approve it. (2) Process the claims in a way that makes sense. There are times when not 100% is covered and it should be, or there is one huge lump sum that I can’t figure out belongs to what claim. (3) Make the benefit statements be available online or in the app. I’m reliant on the paper statement they send to align back to the claim. It’s challenging to figure out what was processed vs not. (4) Consistently use the date of service instead of randomly inserting other dates for the claims, so, again, I can follow what was processed.
It is a great insurance, I just wish it took less time to figure out the status of the claim and tie back payment to the actual claim.

MetLife for your PetLife!
I've had health insurance for my pets before but the claims processing was so onerous and so limited in payout that I felt it was probably cheaper just to go without. However, the pet I adopted thru and agency came with MetLife for the first month and I decided to give it a try beyond that. It has been a blessing to have such great coverage thru MetLife and their claims processing is very efficient and easy to use online or with your phone. They may be a little slow on occasion, but certainly no worse than human health care claims! Keep up the great work MetLife.

Easiest claim process ever
This is the first time I have needed to do a claim through Metlife pet insurance and it was the easiest experience I've ever had with any insurance. The process was simple to do online, and the claim was processed super quickly and hassle-free. Thank you!

MetLife Animal Insurance
This insurance is the best animal insurance without a doubt I have ever had!!! They make it so easy to file a claim and they always let you know when they have received it and that they are working on it. As soon as it’s been approved they let you know and they pay on it within a week or two at the latest and they have paid almost 100% on every bill I have sent them over a four month period!! They are truly amazing and I would highly recommend MetLife for your animal.

I recently signed up for MetLife pet insurance and am very happy with the service provided. It is easy to submit claims and they reimburse you in a timely manner. I highly recommend pet insurance to dog owners!

Run Far Away from Metlife Pet Insurance
Over a month and still haven't received the approved claim funds in over a month.
They said they would Zelle on November 16 but still haven't. Later they said it would be deposited in to my bank account within 1-3 business days but haven't. I've spoken to Customer Service several times but no resolution yet.
