Friendly pet lovers outstanding customer service
The Customer Service at pumpkin pet insurance is outstanding with the most friendly pet, loving folks there to help me when I call. So far, I’ve had no claims, but based on the service I’ve already received in the process of signing up, I am confident that this company is solid and will help when help is needed.

Defamation and poor practice
Poor investigation. Defamated my driving record and ability to obtain collision due to their shady practices. -100. Run in the opposite direction as fast as you can. If I'd have known they'd have screwed me so hard I'd of rather paid 500/month else where knowing I'm dealing with professionals not criminals. Their ombuds person needs a jail cell!

They ghosted me
I was so happy with Fetch and the quick response regarding my claims. Some of them were approved and some of them not, fair enough. The only claim that I’m not happy with the follow up and response was for a neuter surgery. I’m fully aware that the insurance doesn’t cover that if I want to fix my dog just because. In my case, my dog has been struggling with some issues where he has been bleeding and the vet mentioned that could be a problem with the prostate and the solution would be neuter surgery. Why wouldn’t the insurance cover that when it’s a surgery to fix a current health issue? Since I tried to appeal their decision, I’ve been ghosted. I want a reasonable explanation and I stopped receiving answers. From being an insurance company that I fully recommended all the time, not I’m doubtful of that.

I have had coverage with my dog since I…
I have had coverage with my dog since I brought him home 9 years ago. Apparently the coverage lapsed last year because I pay by the year not the month and it was not automatically taken out. I did not know this until today. Very poor customer service in my opinion. They should have notified me more than once that the coverage was lapsing. They said they sent 1 letter which I never received or I would have immediately called and renewed it. I feel like they were trying to get out of covering him.

Astronomical increase in monthly cost
We have had Embrace pet insurance for just over 15 years they have been great until now they just raised our monthly rate from $340.00 to $1050.00 ! For a $5000.00 a year policy. Quite shocking! Now of course she will not have insurance when she needs it. I have recommended Embrace throughout the years ,now I will inform them of this practice.
