Ollie Eats the Squeeker
My sweet little puppy Olivia loves a squeaker toy. One Monday she got very sick and threw up and was very wobbly. Off to the vet we went, 8 hours later and $554.00 poorer, we came home with puzzled thoughts what was that in her body that started out in the am by her stomach and was now down by her tail? Well 20 minutes at home and out she went to relieve herself and what did we find but the squeaker toy. Thank goodness for Embrace they have paid the entire claim. It was the smoothest transaction ever. I wish my healtcare was this easy. Thank you Embrace you guys rock.

I think it is advisable to have animal insurance.
We have used Petshealth care for our other pets and for our dog Misty, a Chihuahua mix. Misty is about 17 months old and she has used the insurance for a couple of small claims and one large claim of $1,200. We received a fair amount after the 80%. We have collected more than we have paid in since getting the insurance in July,20l0. It was a good decision to purchase this insurance.

Love the Wellness program
Very thorough company, easy to read forms, quick reimbursement for the wellness exam. Am getting ready for the spaying and microchip and hope to save some $$ once this is complete. Considering adding other pets in the near future for more discounts. My vet is very impressed with the company so far and may refer new patients.

A Company with a Refreshing Approach!
My two miniature poodles Louis and Otto are my children, they mean the world to me. When Louis suffered from Lyme disease it took many tests to diagnose his illness. I was beside myself because he was in pain. The bill was steep and going forward I wanted to make sure that both boys were protected in the event of any future accidents or illnesses. After extensive research, I narrowed my choice to two insurance companies. I was concerned about the possibility of pre-existing conditions limiting coverage for the boys. After interviewing both finalists, I chose Healthy Paws for several reasons. The two most compelling reasons were the rigorous medical record review process and Jen Sherwood, the Claims Manager. I was encouraged to find a company that was willing to spend the time up front to make sure that I knew what was covered and not covered. Jen spent several hours with me reviewing Louis and Otto's records. I was really struck by her extensive knowledge along with her respectful, honest and warm manner. When Jen offered to contact the boys’ Vet to get more information on a particular condition noted in Otto's records I knew that my research and instinct had paid off! As a result of Jen’s going the full mile, Healthy Paws was able to provide Otto full accident and illness coverage. It is very comforting to know that the boys’ insurance company is more committed to covering illness than denying them the best possible health care…and I know exactly what I'm getting u

The best thing I ever did...
Pets Best and Angel.. When I got my beautiful two year old chocolate lab/mix, Angel, from the East Valley shelter, the first thing I did was to get her an insurance policy, especially one that dealt with emergencies. I have had many experiences with pet emergencies that cost a fortune. And of course, all of the emergency experiences happened on a holiday, weekend or late at night. The cost of these emergency visits was reason enough to take out insurance on this new family member. This gave me some peace of mind should anything happen to my little Angel. And of course, the cost of the insurance is a drop in the bucket compared to the cost of just one of these emergency visits. Pets Best saved me when after a few years of having this beautiful animal in my life; she developed a lump on her chest about the size of a quarter. It didn’t look like much but turned out to be a Mass Cell Tumor. If you know anything about Mass Cell Tumors, you know that they have to remove a large area of tissue surrounding the area to get a clean margin in order to call it cured. This was major surgery and cost a big chunk of money. Pets Best was so easy to deal with. Their online service made submitting a claim easy; download the claim form, fill it out and upload the form and receipts to their website. I also liked that they sent out notifications via email when the claim was submitted and processed; and it was usually within a week that my claim was processed and payment was made via direct

I have had PETSBET insurance for several years. The cat I had before I got the current 3 that I have covered had to be put to sleep due to kitty cancer. Her health issues cost alot of money !!! The cats I have now, I know nothing about their health history because they are strays & from The Humane Society. I got them insurance as soon as I could. I love them all so much. I have interacted with several PETSBEST staff members. They all have been so very helpful. No matter what my question is, PETSBEST responds & has an answer for me. I want to say thank you to PETSBEST. I have no idea what I'ld do without PETSBEST in our lives. The fact that PETSBEST exists allows me to 'not think' so much about this part of their life. I know that if/when my cats need something PETSBEST will work with me. All the representatives I have spoken to have been so kind. I know this is going to sound crazy but their voices are very soothing & they put me at ease. PETSBEST rocks!! When I had my first cat, pet insurance didn't exist. Now that pet insurance does exist, I scream from the top of my lungs "GET PET INSURANCE!!!" I try to explain to people about different policies & different prices & deductibles & multicat discounts. Great Wellness Policy
I can't say enough about Embrace's Wellness Policy. It covers all those expenses you know you will have throughout the year...flea medication, heartworm, etc. It's almost as if someone is just handing you $40.00 for taking care of your pet.

I recently purchased ASPCA health insurance for my Great Dane Lola. She hurt her tail a couple months after my purchase and the vet bills became overwhelming. After paying them all, I made a claim. I was reimbursed a good amount of the money within 2 months. The claim forms were very easy and ASPCA health insurance kept me up to date as they processed them.

I had this coverage on my GDS, Caesar II, four years. The renewal premiums always seemed reasonable, until the 15% increase last year. As I realize there would be increase, this was considered more than usual.I purchased this premium for peace of mind. If there was an accident, I knew that at least some portion of my expenses would be recovered. I submitted several claims over the years,and felt that the reimbursement rates were fair. Except for the initial charge for the doctor encounter If I could suggest a change to the coverage, I would re-evalute the geographical findings, as $39.00 is an impractical amount in the year 2011. In speaking with my vet, she very much agrees. I have had some positive experience with the coverage, and would purchase it again.

Very quick to process claims and keeps you up-to-date via emails. Very easy and no-problem claim processing (they don't give you a hard time on what they cover and what they don't, nor do they try to hide behind legalese or small print). They covered and quickly refunded everything I have submitted to them so far.
