Beware of the Increase After Only One Year

We have paid for our Trupanion insurance for one year on our two puppies who are staggered in age. As soon as the first puppy turned one-year-of age, Trupanion raised the premium on one puppy from $42 per month to $54 per month. I assume the second puppy will receive an increase in a couple months which will cost $104 ($50 deductible)per month for puppies only one-year of age. I am unsure that this is worth the long term commitment of $1,248 per year for ten years down the road when dogs will need the insurance. We had a claim when our puppy was stung by an insect and had a swollen nose. Apparently that drove our $84 per month payment to become not enough for Trupanion...but it was enough for me.

The Rolls-Royce of Pet Insurance

I've been with Embrace for over 2 years and tell every pet owner I know how great they are. We've had a few medical scares but nothing serious yet. It's comforting to know if something serious does happen we're covered. I've had Embrace's wellness coverage since day 1 and it's awesome. It's forced me to become a better pet parent and I've saved money every year on routine care. I would suggest anybody looking for a company to call Embrace and you'll know right away how great they're service is.

Terrible!!! Don't waste your money!!

EVERY claim they have managed to find some ridiculous reason not to cover it. Don't be fooled by the $200 deductible.......you could spend thousands of dollars in out of pocket expenses for your deductible and they get to decide exactly how much they want to release towardsyour deductible! TERRIBLE!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND JUST PAY THE VET BILLS OUTRIGHT......YOU WILL SAVE MORE MONEY IN THE LONG RUN!!

All Covered

I am so grateful we bought coverage from Embrace. Our new puppy has been quite a handful in his first 4 months with us. He has done everything from eating knee-hi's to breaking a leg. When I received my coverage for my new Bernese Mountain Dog I immediately had the vet fill out the forms and examine him for the Orthopedic Waiver. Thank goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He actually later BROKE his hind leg and it required SURGERY. Embrace was great. They collected all of the necessary information from the veterinarians and surgeons and processed my claim promptly. Everything from his after-hours emergency care to his surgery and aftercare were covered exactly as the policy stated. I have been so grateful for Embrace's service and coverage. It has been a lifesaver in more than one way.

does not cover 80% of the vets bill.

your charges for procedures need to be increase. They are not near what vets charge. You say you pay 80%, but you dont tell that 80% of what you think the charges are. So I could end up paying up to 75% or more. Please take under advisement.
