Excellent! Paid all of our many claims for our dog

Our husky came with a basic plan from 24PetWatch when we adopted him as a puppy. Over the years we upgraded his plan to the most coverage as he seemed to have every health issue possible. They always reimbursed every claim and some were major (thousands of dollars each). They do take a long time to send the payments but we were never rejected.

Go with VPI !!!!

We have had repeated problems with this co ,notwithstanding 13 years of continuous and faithful payment of their high premiums . The clever part of their " coverage " is their limitation of available ins . for catastrophic diseases such as cancer ....i. e. to 3,000.00 . Nowadays ,by the time the pet is diagnosed you've spent the 3,000 ,and thereafter it's all on you !!! What's even worse is that whatever happens thereafter ,they'll always claim it's somehow, someway ,related to the tumor...even if a series of tests is run to explore the possibility of an additional disease, condition,or conditions. Go ...as we have with our younger dogs ....with VPI !!! Much broader coverage ,lower premiums ,and much fairer evaluation of claims . Be prepared to get a denial letter from a "Jeanne Feather " ,and then try to reach Ms. "Feather ",who probably doesn't exist...or ,if she does ,is more insulated than the President of the U.S. !!!!!

AMAZING

We enrolled our English Bulldog puppies with Healthy Paws at the age of 9 weeks. We could not have made a better choice when choosing Healthy Paws. My husband and I researched other pet insurance plans and found that many of them do not cover hereditary issues in some breads. Healthy Paws however has been there for us through 4 surgeries between both of our dogs. But this latest scare was with our little Maxine. She stopped breathing a day after her soft pallet surgery. We rushed her to UCDavis Veterinary hospital and they began CPR and she was then on a ventilator to do the breathing for her. Of course we would do anything for our babies but the feeling of helplessness came over us when we realized how mmuch this was going to cost. The vet hospital quoted us a high of 12,000. We made the deposit of 8000.00 on our credit card and called Healthy Paws the very next morning. While in tears, I spoke to Mona at Healthy Paws who assured me it would all be okay and to make sure we keep her in the hospital as long as possible to get Maxine in good health. She said "don't worry we have you covered" We will reimburse you 90% of all expenses and if the bill continues to grow and we cannot afford to pay up front she offered to send direct payments to the hospital!! Without Healthy Paws our Maxine may not have had access to the treatment she needed to make a full recovery. She is coming home today. A long road ahead but will be back to the same pup she was before this happened. Thank yo

They came through for us

We've had ASPCA insurance for our two greyhounds for a few years now, and had submitted claims a few times before, but unfortunately those claims weren't classified as accidents or injuries (we just have the basic level of protection) and we didn't qualify for any reimbursement. In June though, one of our greyhounds had to have emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage, and then follow up treatment when he was bleeding internally. In the end he came through okay, but the bill was certainly pretty high. The vet's office was pretty skeptical about us getting anything back, but I submitted our claim anyway (it's a really easy process, and worth the time), and I'm certainly glad we did! The max refund per incident was only about half of the total amount we had to pay to the vet, but we were extremely glad to get that back! These days everyone is very skeptical about ever seeing any refunds from any kind of insurance company, but I can definitely say now that when accidents happen to your pets, it is more than worth it to have ASPCA Insurance coverage! The claim process is easy and quick, and they let you know about the decision of your claim pretty quickly, and best of all send out that check right away.

QUICK TURNAROUND

I have had pet insurance for almost 7 years now. My black lab, Belle, just had her second ACL surgery. The charge was $5600. Embrace processed her claim and sent a check ASAP. I would strongly recommend Embrace pet insurance to all pet owners. Having insurance saves me from having to make difficult decisions and from going bankrupt!!

No good for shelter pets

I adopt two pets from a Texas shelter. The shelter give you the 24pet insurance, I call activated and pay for extra cost. Four days after they got out of the shelter they start coughing, took them to the vet, Kennel Cough. Two days later, pneumonia. Total expenses 2,500.00. They didn't pay anything because any illness or accident pre-existing to the policy is not available for coverage. The customer service the worst, I had been on hold for two hours.

Excellent feedback and coverage!

Louboutin is the first puppy for whom I have elected to have insurance! So happy I did this! Unfortunately, he had some health issues early on and having Trupanion has helped with the financial ramifications to get him healthy!!

Healthy Paws Is Great!

Healthy Paws's insurance coverage is great and also they have great and friendly staff too! I had a different pet insurance before, but I switched to Healthy Paws after a lot of research about 1 1/2 years ago. I have three Persian cats and one of them was diagnosed "Pyometra" and she had to do surgery, "ASAP".  I had to pay around $2,000 as a deposit and also after surgery I paid $2,000 more. Total 4,000! Well, I didn't expect any insurance company to reimburse me such a big amount, but I filed a claim just in case. Surprisingly Healthy paws emailed me a few days later and they said they would reimburse 90% of it! I could not believe it! Really?!!?! I am so glad to have Healthy Paws insurance! They do care about pets and they did exactly what they said they would. I will recommend it to all my friends and I want to say THANK YOU so much!

MUST HAVE!!!

I have been with Embrace for more than 3 years and I get more enthused about them all the time. I insure two dogs, one with severe neurological issues and another who was healthy as a horse and then developed an almost terminal condition unexpectedly. I think we have now spent around $35,000 dollars on the two of them and 90% was completely covered by Embrace. No arguments, no hassles, they simply do what they've agreed to do and with kindness as well. I find the Wellness plan to be more than worthwhile too- if you provide even the most basic vaccinations and flea preventative, you will more than make your investment back. I will always use Embrace and I encourage every person who adopts a dog (or cat) to get this. It's the best investment you could make and it insures your family member can get the health care they need. Bravo Embrace!!!!

Great!

We have nothing but great things to say about Healthy Paws. My somewhat accident prone pug has had his fair share of vet visits and every time I have sent in a invoice they email me the next day and it seems like I have a check no later than three days later every single time. They also follow up in a week with a personalized email asking how your pet is doing. We really love their customer service!
