Pet Insurance is a Must

My two dogs, Molson and Katie, both 1 years old love to chew things and get into things they shouldn't. Unfortunately one of those things was a bottle of Tile Sealant that had Antifreeze listed as an ingredient. So we rushed them to the emergency vet clinic and were told that they would have to do a blood test and the treatment would be $2,000 a dog. Luckly after the blood tests the dogs had not ingested anything so the total bill was only $500 - of which I received $300 back from VPI very quickly (the other $200 was for deductible). It gives us peace of mind to know that reimbursements occur for most life threatening situations and that we won't have to mortgage the house to save the pups. :)
