Before I signed up for VPI, I carefully read through the plan, including restrictions. We primarily signed up for the plan in case our German Shepherd ever had bloat. We did the math, and at his age, it would be cheaper to pay the premiums every month for the remainder of his life, than to pay the huge expense of surgery. Shortly after we signed up, we had to make a claim (thankfully, not related to bloat). We quickly received reimbursement from VPI for about 80% of the bill. That makes me a very pleased VPI customer.
