Just remember: As with all insurance: YOU HAVE TO GET IT WHEN YOU DON'T WANT IT TO HAVE IT WHEN YOU NEED IT! I have a beautiful chocolate lab that is now 10 and I have had VPI for 5 years. I will do anything that is needed to take care of her. She is part of the family as I'm sure many of your pets are too! Labs are known for hip dysplasia and other ailments. Luckily she has been very healthy, but I know if I cancel it, I will probably need it for something. VPI has paid quickly for any claims I've sent in, usually just yearly checkups, vacinations and maybe a couple of small things. Yes, I would love to be reimbursed more, but some is better than none at all. Insurance is about taking on and sharing the risk. High deductible, lower premium and vice versa. Read carefully what is covered and not covered and see if it is a fit for you.
