We took Zoey in after she began vomiting and was lethargic. After tests and an ultrasound - she was scheduled for emergency surgery for a ruptured gallbladder removal. The surgeon was on vacation but luckily was in town and rushed in to perform the procedure. She flat-lined and was resuscitated twice on the table. After a day or so her platelet count diminished and she required a blood transfusion, chemo drug injection and weeks of prednisone. At this point she is healing very well is is back to playing. We were blessed to have such a skilled and compassionate surgeon, veterinarian, and staff caring for her. Without them she would not be here with us today. And we are so thankful for PetPlan and their rapid payment of our hefty vet bills. Thank you!
