VPI Insurance is a JOKE

Out of 10

We would not recommend VPI pet insurance. Our lab had to have surgery on her elbows to remove a bone chip at 9mos old. VPI refused the claim for $2800 even though our vet wrote a letter of how critical it was for her to have it at 9 mos. VPI stated she had to have 12 mos coverage. If she was older it would have impaired her mobility so much more according to our vet. They refused any payment on the claim. Not a dime. They do not cover blood work, tests, spays, shots, heartworm or any other normal dog medical requirements. Coverage only if our dog gets cancer or a terminal illness....don't buy VPI. They are a rip-off!!!

So it's a rip off because IN THE POLICY it says hereditary coverage is not covered in the first 12 months? So because YOU didn't read yoru policy...insurance is a rip off?

You must read all policy limitations. I have been with vpi for 15 years. I have had up to 5 cats insured at once. I now have 3 cats insured and i would not give up the insurance. It has been a blessing that i found it. I have had 4 people sign up wiyh the insurance since i have been with vpi. They are all pleased. I goyt my boss to sign up her toy poodle. He had a knee cap going out and had to have surgery. He also broke his front foot. On both incidents the coverage from vpi was wonderful.Thank you vpi for being in existance for our animals.
