So impressed

I don't normally write reviews for things, particularly not insurance companies, but in this case I feel compelled to speak up. My 2 year old German Shepherd/Akita mix Sonny had a life threatening, sudden emergency this year in mid-November. He went to the vet at 2 in the morning and they diagnosed him with Bloat and indicated that they needed to operate immediately or he would die. He underwent the surgery during the night, stayed in intensive care for a few days and eventually made it home 3 days later. The total vet bills were close to $6000.
Dealing with Pet Plan was, essentially, very easy. I was given a bit of a runaround by the vets when I was trying to get their signatures on the claim form but once the forms were submitted they were reviewed and approved within two days and the cheque for the full amount was mailed out to me less than a week after I initially submitted the claim.

There were no questions or arguments about the invoices and no issues whatsoever.

I have nothing but good things to say about Pet Plan. The whole process was easy, the customer service reps were extremely courteous and they paid out my claim without causing any kind of fuss, despite the large amount.

Sonny has their top of the line insurance, which equates to about $70 per month. I was a bit dubious about spending so much when I first got his policy in October. But even if I have Pet Plan for another 7 years and continue to pay $70 per month, it still won't cost as much as the

Curious to find out how much your insurance went up the next year. I hear that is where they gauge you.
