I don't normally write reviews for things, particularly not insurance companies, but in this case I feel compelled to speak up. My 2 year old German Shepherd/Akita mix Sonny had a life threatening, sudden emergency this year in mid-November. He went to the vet at 2 in the morning and they diagnosed him with Bloat and indicated that they needed to operate immediately or he would die.
