This is the first time we've had pet insurance, and we've only had our kittens a few months. We got Embrace at the recommendation of our vet, and have only had one claim so far for Wellness Visits. (The Wellness add-on is a steal if you know you have vaccines, de-worming, or the like to complete with kittens or puppies. For $149 you get $200 of reimbursement without any deductible, so it's free money. I suspect it's worth it to Embrace because it keeps you doing those well-visit exams and is likely to catch small issues before they turn into major problems.)
Anyway, given that you can check the status of your claim on the website, I hardly expected to be sent emails when the claim was received, when it was processed, and a follow-up making sure the check had been received. What great service! Would highly recommend -- the claim process was painless and if anything CS seems to overcommunicate -- a good problem to have.
