This review is long overdue. A week ago, I called PetPlan customer service number. I had submitted a claim for my dog, who had emergency surgery. There was a problem with the claim that I submitted; detailed medical information was needed. I spoke with Joseph Prater, Happiness Manager. I informed him of my problem with my claim, and he assured me withe confidence that he would be able to assist me, and resolve my issues. He went through the process of explaining what additional information was needed to be submitted for my claim. He put me on hold, and contacted the hospital that had provided the services for my dog; and advised them that the SOAP notes were needed in order for my claim to be processed. Joe provided excellent customer services. He took the time to listen and address my concerns. He was professional, and showed empathy for the experience that I had gone through with almost losing my beloved pet, and understood my frustration going through the process of trying to get my claim submitted and hopefully approved. I felt like a valued customer. Working with Joe was one of the best customer experiences .
