I have one dog. His name is Piccolo and he has been insured with VPI since I got him (4 months old). Ever since we have been using the services of VPI. While on the regular check ups and routine visits the reiumbursement amounts are not 100% and somehow limited, the coverage on emergencies and severe illness is very comprehensive. If all will be covered then the premiums would be hard to afford. I have pace of mind knowing that I can afford the premiums and that when really needed Piccolo will have vet attention regardless of my financial situation whenever that times comes, hopefully never :) Just make sure you read carefully what and how things will be covered and what will not be covered to avoid surprises later. The sooner you enroll your puppy the better to maximize your coverage.
