I wanted to share a number of positive experiences I've had with Petplan Pet Insurance over the past few years. As a true dog lover, money has never been a concern when it came to taking care of my dogs, but insurance was never something I'd really considered in the past, mainly because I had never heard of it. But after spending thousands of dollars in out of pocket vet bills to do whatever was needed to take care of my "best friend" of 15 years, in her final months, we then decided that we'd purchase pet insurance for any new dogs in our lives. I am very thorough when it comes to research and after weeks of reading, comparing and reviewing, the clear choice for us was Petplan.
Gabby (Gabrielle) and Zsa-Zsa are our two mixed breed Australian Cattle Dogs, that we adopted as puppies from a shelter in late 2007. Other than their markings, you could never guess they were sisters. Gabby is the epitome of a laid back lazy dog, not caring much for the affection of people, while Zsa Zsa is super hyper-active and energetic all the time and is truly a big baby. When the shelter heard we were interested in two dogs they asked if we could have Zsa Zsa
be one of them just because she was so needy and would be better with a litter mate.
Shortly after we had them spayed and micro chipped we signed each of them up for a Petplan Insurance policy. With their differing personalities it came as no surprise that Gabby didn't mind a trip to the vet's, whereas Zsa Zsa absolutely went crazy
