Earlier this year my cat broke his leg, and my financial outgo was around $900. VPI paid just over $100, and they were constantly finding ways to get out of paying my claims...using fine print, etc. I have had VPI coverage on three pets, and have been pleased with their fairness in the past - unfortunately, not this time. My complaints were clearly voiced, but not response or apology was made. I will not buy VPI with future pets, but am sort of stuck with them now on my mid aged kitties. Hope your luck on claims is better than my experience.
