I posted a story in March of 08 about my two golden retrievers needing abdominal surgeries and how great VPI was to me. Well, the male golden has managed to tear a tendon in his ankle which has required surgery. While in surgery, the vet found two drain holes that were infected in which he had fox tails embedded which had to be removed. I took him to the vet less than two weeks ago for the initial exam, and I received my first check for the x-rays and office visit today, the same day I brought him home from the hospital from his surgery. VPI paid exactly as claimed: a $50 deductible and then they paid 90% of everything else. The only thing they didn't cover was $1.30 in taxes. They're batting 1000% with me and my kids!
