This is my first year and first time with emergency insurance for my act. She ate a ribbon and had to have surgery to remove it which involved emergency surgery at an emergency animal clinic on a weekend (naturally). It involved two other calls with the vet besides. VPI has been prompt very prompt with the first two paymants and the last one is in the process. The amount paid with each has been about two thirds of the bill which was a big relief. I expect it will be about the same for the last bill to be paid. It was a big relief to know I had them to help relieve some of the burden of the sudden and very costly care. I would and have recommended VPI to everyone I know with pets. Both Vets I have used in NH and FL said that VPI insurance is by far the best to used to deal with and for pay outs. I will not be without insurance for any animals in the future because I never want to have to make the decision to put one of my pets down because of cost of care. Mary Davis and my cat "Beezie"
