Okay, but sure could use improvement

I have had both my cats insured thru VPI since I got them. VPI has covered a lot of treatements. However, I feel that they could vastly improve their services in many ways. First, with all pet insurances, you pay all items up front. I can manage that EXCEPT VPI can take 30 or more days to process a claim. Other issues are that they do not pay close attention to detail and often overlook items for which i am entitled to reimbursment. I call, and their service person goes through the claim only to realize that they have made a mistake. This has happened to me at least three times. Also, they don't make submitting claims easy. I think they should accept online submissions of claimes with electronic copies of receipts.
