The bottom line is that PetFirst reimburses what they say they will. They also pay by incident and a lot of companies try to weasel their way out of paying for a lot of diagnostics. PetFirst takes their time paying, and if you call to ask for clarification of the info on the website, which isn't always accurate, be ready to stay on hold for a while. As of this moment, I have been on hold for nearly and hour and a half. No joke. I think I will call the extension for "new policies" and see if anyone picks up.As I said in my opening sentence, PetFirst pays what they say they will, premiums are reasonably priced and they will take older pets that most companies will not cover without charging an arm and a leg.
We will keep our policies, but we won't hold our breath waiting for reimbursements. Kudzu could cover a two story house during that wait.

yes hit the extension for new policies. You'll never get a human hitting the existing customers extension.
