My dog Hannah had been very ill and I had to pay $3000 in vet bills. Bad enough, but I was also having a lot of trouble getting all the paperwork I needed from my vets to complete my Petplan claim. I had faxed requests to the vets several times explaining what I needed, but I wasn't getting anywhere. And I became more frustrated when I phoned Petplan and found out that, even after all my efforts, the vets still hadn't complied.
I spoke to Amy in customer service (well, actually I kind of yelled at Amy), telling her about my frustration regarding the missing paperwork and the continued problems I was having. Amy volunteered to call my vets to get the paperwork and, within a few days, she called back to let me know the status. And to my delight I received an email that checks were on the way to me!
