Our dog needed TPLO surgery and this company denied him because when he was 6 months old he had growing pains which all Saint Bernards have. He is 7 years old and tore his ACL in a slip/fall. This comapny had the audacity to say that it was a pre-existing condition from when he was 6 montsh old. How can tearing your ACL in the knee be pre-existing? He fell! They want to pay for the shots and regular checkups but try to submit anything else and it is an absolute nightmare. I am serious when I say this company is not fair, has no integrity, and looks for any reason to deny claims.

I had the exact issue. I have a 3 year old Rottweiler that tore her cruciate during a dog show. Submitted a claim for TPLO and they denied it because I had taken her in for slight lameness 2 years prior. The diagnosis previously was Pano, growing pains. Because she had seen a vet before for a limp, they considered her cruciate to be pre-existing. In spite of 2 letters from 2 vets, they denied my claim. I'm currently pursuing legal action and have filed a complaint with the California State Board of Insurance. This is a horrible company.
My cat unfortunately deceased in May 201424 Pet Watch Claims that my cat had pre-existing conditions because the doctor wrote a note that the Cat had a little bit of Anemia.
Even with all the papers that i submited they denied my claim and I am thinking to pursue legal action.
I agree this is a Horrible Company!!!!
