Fourteen years ago in 1997 we adopted our dog Shelby from a no kill shelter. For the last thirteen years, prior to her recent death, she was covered under a Veterinary Pet Insuranace Superior policy. Over the years, I have been very satisfied with Shelby's VPI coverage including cruciate rupture surgeries and treatments for Lyme disease and renal failure, the latter two having benefits which renewed each policy year. From 2006 through 2010 the monthly payments for the VPI policies totaled aproximately #2997.00. During that period of time, I received reimbusment checks of over #4228.00 on submitted claims. That was #1230.00 over and above what I paid out in premiums. I felt I could provide Shelby with the best medical care available - She was worth every bit of it. Thank you VPI, I would do it all over again.
