I signed up for one month free when I adopted a puppy last summer. I was told that my credit card information was customary, but it would be cancelled after 1 month, that I would have to sign and return authorization for it to be continued. Well, I never recieved any papers but I sure did get charged for the policy. I have cancelled a total of three times. The first they have no record of, the second they do, but erroneously continued charging me for. Now I cancelled again and was told (7 days ago) that the back charges would be credited to my account within 24 to 48 hours. Of course they haven't been. I call back today, sit on hold for 35 minutes and am told that it usually takes WEEKS to get a refund. I demanded to speak to a supervisor and was put through to a voice mail box. I am once again on hold for a person. I have never been made to feel less important. I am seriously considering contacting the Attorney General's office and filing a claim.
