I have had VPI policies on many dogs and have learned the hard way they are NOT folks you want to deal with. Faxed in claims lost, LONG delays on the phone, rate schedules almost a decade old so reembursement was dismal at best! I was told that they would have to review my dogs medical history when considering paying a claim for foreign body removal because if it happened more than once its a mental issue and not a claim they would cover!!!I AM SERIOUS!My Lab was bitten by a poisonous snake and had blood in her urine within 30 days afterwards and I had to PROVE the poison caused it...sure disnt help her Im sure!...they denied the claim! They are sooo good at that! (at the time I had 4 dogs insured with then and it was less than $100 reembursement! %50 deductible, then 90% of THEIR amount on THEIR schedule based on fees charged years ago!VPI=" Very Poor Insurance" they got that right at least!
