Have your claims been processed in a timely manner? Absolutely. I have been surprised by the quick turn-around. Have you been satisfied with the reimbursement you have received? Wow, what a question. My dog Star died on August 1st. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her. I'm still trying to get over her death. I bought Star a VPI policy 11 years ago and finally decided to use it during the past 6 months when she was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. I have not added up the total cost for the diagnosis/treatment, nor have I added up the total reimbursement from VPI. I do know that the last bill I paid the vet was for around $2,700 and I was reimbursed by VPI around $700. Does that make me satisfied? No. But I'm glad I received something back. I'm also glad I have a policy for my other 2 dogs Ringo and Rowdy. Their premiums are reasonable and it gives me some sense of comfort. I did received condolences from VPI, that was nice.
