Refund isn't as easy at it sounds...

First off, I have a German Shepherd puppy that I've had to take in a few times because of lameness.
Petplan is great with approving all of the injuries that come with taking your pet into the vet, but they have been such a pain when it comes to getting refunded. They have so many forms and require so much information that it takes me calling my vet and petplan 3-5 times in order to get a claim to go through. On top of that, they do not inform you when a claim doesn't go through. You actually have to constantly look online to see the status of your claim. If I didn't check it daily, I would have never known that the claim was missing paperwork and or a signature. Because this process takes so long, I typically don't get refunded for 2 months.

Other then that, Petplan has been great in helping me with everything, I just don't have the time and patience to deal with calling back and forth everytime.

I agree totally. They really need to figure out a way to streamline the reimbursement process. I took my dog to the ER because he was throwing up constantly and could barely walk. Our normal vets treatment did not help so the ER was where I had to go at 9 PM on a Tuesday. The ER vet gave me so much paperwork I was convinced that there was no way Pet Plan could need anything else. Sure enough, I just checked my claim and they said they need updated medical records from the ER vet and my normal vet for the past TWO years. WTF! I have to do this every time???
