Extremely Long Reimbursement Times

Have had no problems, I've liked dealing with the company, they've covered all problems and been a stress reliever when it comes to getting good care for my pet. However I was just told to expect a 15-20 business day turnaround for a claim to be processed, which is ridiculous. Especially when other large competitors offer direct billing so you are never out of pocket. Would likely not insure another animal under this company for this reason.

Your most recent claim was processed in 12 business days from receipt of the original claim. Our competitors typically do not underwrite new policies at the time of purchase so claims turnaround for your first claim could be very lengthy as they need to request, receive and underwrite (including pre-existing conditions) before they can process your first claim. Camille, I just wanted to mention that I am currently with ANOTHER pet insurance company... and have been told they are dealing with a 7 week TURNAROUND for them to REVIEW our claim........... that's not even the reimbursement period!! I can handle 2-3 weeks...

Gave a lowest score possible, a ONE star review when all you had to do was wait a couple weeks for your claim to be processed? That seems kind of cold and unfair to me.
