I've had several claims with Healthy Paws for my older labrador. They've clearly explained his coverage and what documentation is required for care. The claims process is extremely easy and the response is fast. Healthy Paws has been very fair and open with covering my dog's surgery claims. I give them a whole hearted recommendation.

Healthy Paws is a great insurer for both my rescued greyhounds that were racer's in Tijuana, MX. I've insure them since their adoptions. Overall the price is reasonable and does increase with the age of the pet, not the number of claims. My male has developed 2 autoimmune diseases and sees a Dermatologist and an Internist. He's also had a dog attack along with other mishaps requiring emergency care and surgeries. Overall the claim process is a snap and I'm reimbursed direct deposit in 1 - 2 days. I couldn't be happier!

My 5 year old chocolate lab Lucy had TPLO surgery after a cruciate tear to her knee. I have had the accident only policy for about 5 years. My policy has a $250.00 reducible and 90% pay. The claim was easy to file online and they were easy to speak to by phone. My claim was processed very quickly and I had my reimbursement in about 5 days after filing it. I am so glad I had this coverage and am very happy with this company.

I have full coverage on my cat which includes preventative. I have been disapppointed in the reimbursement. She has had teeth removed two times that were infected and they said this is pre existing condition. Therefore, only a portion of her bill was reimbursed. Out of $1200 for the last extraction done, I was only reimbursed $235. Since I have full coverage on my cat I don't understand how an infected tooth is pre existing. I really can't change insurance companies at this point because she is now 7 years old. I signed her up as a kitten so it would be more expensive if I changed.

I would highly recommend Healthy Paws pet insurance for every pet owner. Healthy Paws have saved me so much money over the past 5 and a half years. I have three cats that have had numerous claims over this period of time. First of all I highly suggest getting pet insurance the same day you bring a pet into your home. Healthy Paws is very responsive and very quick to reimburse directly into your bank account. They make it so easy to submit a claim and the explanation of benefits are very understandable.
