We brought Stanley home for rescue a few weeks ago. He had some issues with breathing and we took him to VSEC Emergency. The Emergency Room Doctor advised us to make an appointment for a procedure to determine what his problem was and what would be needed to follow up. We made an appointment, the procedure was done and the claim form was faxed to Pet Plan. I got an email stating that we needed to send Stanley's medical history for the last 2 years including reports and statements from the Vets who had treated him. This information was necessary before they could process the claim. I called Pet Plan and explained that Stanley was only a year old, had been rescued from a hoarding situation and I would be glad to send whatever I had and whatever was available. I spoke to Nick and he immediately put my mind at ease. Just send us whatever you have, we don't expect more than you can provide. We faxed all we could get to Nick's attention. The claim was settled quickly and I am now waiting for a check for $1300.00 plus and I am delighted. Nick was kind, understanding and concerned not only about Stanley, but also about me. I am so pleased about my experience with Pet Plan and I have recommended to my friends with dogs...get health insurance...call Pet Plan. My thanks to Pet Plan and especially to Nick!
