I signed up two puppies with Pet Plan and only when I went to confirm my policy was active (I got it in advance), did someone at customer service (after multiple sales calls) tell me about the waiting periods and exclusions (I quote): "One is 5 days, for an injury or accident, and the other is 15 days for an illness. Lastly, all of our policies have a 6 month exclusionary period on the pet's cruciate ligaments and patellas". This was NEVER explained in any of the sales calls despite asking about any exclusions. That is completely misleading in my opinion, especially when most people are comparing plans and to not reveal this info upfront is unethical. I haven't made a claim but I will be cancelling this policy and going with another option.
