To say thank you to Petplan for the speed in which our recent claim was completed seems so empty; but a heartfelt thank you to you and your company for the immediate response we received after our beloved Max was struck by a truck travelling at highway speed on October 21st. I just want to say that Max is well on his way to recovery. Each day there have been so many positive changes in his wellness. Today he actually wanted to play with one of his buds and we played ball also for the first time today.
He has had three chiro adjustments and doggie massage on his way to wellness as his head, his back, his mandible (lower jaw) and a couple of ribs were out. For a little guy who had a 50% chance of survival on the day he was struck he is our miracle baby. We are so grateful to Petplan for completing the claim so quickly and to all our friends and family who prayed for his recovery.
The only change in his personality is his obsession with food. For a pooch who rarely ate he appears to be making up for lost time! We now have to be vigilant about his intake! The vet says she'll be looking into this as she's never heard about this phenomenon. However head injuries do strange things to humans, why not dogs?
