I’m allergic to cats and had no intention of owning one. But after his owner died, the abandoned neighborhood cat became a mainstay in our yard so we named him YY and adopted him back. Not knowing much about cats, I researched pet insurance and I was glad to find that PetPlan was reasonable and had different plans that matched my budget.
When our cat became sick, I worried about what treatment we could afford for him. I’d visit the vet, send in my claim, and follow up with a call. PetPlan’s Happiness Manager Susan Potts was very patient and kind in helping me manage the claims and pre-authorization process. Her calm voice helped while I worried about treatments we could manage for our cat. She made sure that we had all the information to make the assessment at PetPlan go quickly.
As I care for YY, I am grateful for all that we can do for him because having PetPlan gives us flexibility to consider various medical options. Everyone I talk to there has been helpful, but Susan Potts took on all the stages of YY’s illness and has been a steady help throughout the process. Now I can focus on YY’s needs and I don’t have to worry about seeing the paperwork through because I know it’s in good hands.
