Our dog, Tika, has a chronic illness, EPI, that requires that she have digestive enzymes with all of her food. Without these enzymes, she would starve to death. A typical treatment for this is a powdered form of the enzymes that is very unpleasant to handle and which can cause problems for the dog. After doing research, we discovered an enteric coated form of the enzymes used by humans (Creon). Creon enables digestion to take place in the intestines, rather than in the food bowl. We decided this was a much better choice. PetPlan has supported this choice without ever questioning why we wouldn't use the more commonly used powdered enzymes. Our most recent reimbursement check was for $1036.00. We very much appreciate having our choices supported.
