I purchased insurance for Emma & Rigby over a year-and-a-half ago as a "just in case something happened". Well, Emma was diagnosed with IMHA (Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia) in July. Her emergency care rose to $7,000. She is now on medications costing over $300/month and weekly blood work. Emma's blood levels are still not in the normal range, but we are optimistic that in time and with the medication, she will get better. If it wasn't for PetPlan, we don't know if we could have considered treatment for her.
