Great insurance, Great company!

Who would have thought that pet insurance would be needed for a completely healthy pure bred golden retriever puppy? He is now 1 1/2 years old and we have gone through 2 surgeries to remove ingested rocks and are currently facing a cruciate ligament repair. My wife recently said: "Getting that insurance was the best decision you have ever made." (She forgot about marrying her.) PetPlan has been a pleasure to deal with and I could not recommend it more highly.

I agree! Getting Petplan insurance was also one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have commented to people that if Health (people) insurance was this reliable, affordable, helpful and caring...there would be no health care crisis in this country. Well, at least I know my pitbull will always be taken care of!

Caring? Helpful? Certainly NOT. The coverage is good, one of four insurances I would ever recommend (I've had two of them). Absolutely the WORST, rudest, convoluted customer "service" and claims process I have ever seen. Truly horrible. My vet will NOT deal with Pet Plan, period. I had to go to another vet for my last problem, before I had a chance to drop this company, sadly. I'd rather end up paying more in the future if an insurance won't cover something due to it being deemed pre-existing, than deal with the terrible employees they have!
