Charlie, age 8, is a white rescue combo of poodle, terrier, wolfhound. We are told he looks like the original Sandy from Annie. He started vomiting immediately after he ate 2-3 times a week. During the middle of the 2nd week we took him to the vet who drew blood to to do a complete workup. His billyrubin level was up but he was not jaundiced. The vet told us we would have to come back in 5 weeks to draw more blood and if his levels were still up he would have to have a sonogram on his gallbladder and possible surgery. PetPlan reimbursed us with 5-7 business days for the entire procedure less our deductible. When we took him back for his second blood test all the results were normal. He has stopped vomiting.Petplan paid 100% as this was a continuation of a pre existing condition. We got the check in about 5 days.
We have been with PetPlan for about 4 years and think they are the best of all the insurances we have had.
