I was recommended to PetPlan by someone I met at a salon whose cat was very sick. She sang the praises of this company over and over each week. At the time, I had this awful insurance that used to pay back what "they" thought was fair and reasonable which was never anything close to what I paid out. Once I realized that I was paying them far more than any claim I could put in, I cancelled my policy. I felt it was the same as paying in full so why bother. I thought all pet insurance companies did the same thing so I just dropped it and hoped for the best. Luckily, I never had anything serious happen to my dog (I've since made the furry family much bigger) but it was always in the back of my mind a huge "what if". When this woman told me of her sickly cat and that if it wasn't for PetPlan, she would have had to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket, I had to take the info and called them. Well, here I am and happy to say that when my dog Lucky had an eye and ear infection, my reimbursement was in the mail within two weeks. Easy as that! When I had a question about multi-pet discounts, a wonderful Happiness Manager named Brittany Irvin responded within minutes and with the solution. If it is possible to feel how much someone loves animals from an email, then I know I'm in the right place having corresponded with Brittany. I also recently adopted an old guy that someone threw out and the rep that signed my Manny up was so nice and friendly and we were done in minutes.
