All it took was an irresistable impulse, a broken collar and a SUV to turn a Sunday afternoon into a nightmare. We spent almost $2,000 in 2 hours to get him stabilized, X-rayed and stitched up. His belly looked as if it had been attacked by a belt sander. We left him in intensive care with a morphine drip and came home to get our insurance papers. We had purchased insurance for him as a pup and we were so happy that our decisions were based on what he needed, not what we could afford.
PetPlan paid for his rehab and when that didn't work, they paid for the repair of the ligaments in his right hock joint. He is finishing up this course of rehab and he will be fine.
The staff helped me with the forms and the checks arrived promptly.
