It's true. I have a 7 year old mixed breed, who is one of the four loves of my life, and she's also chronically ill. She has Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Hip Dysplaysia and arthritis, Diabetes/Cataracts, and a host of infections. On a daily basis, she is like any other dog... tail wagging, campaigning for treats, barking at passers-by. But when she gets sick, and it's pretty often, we have to do a slew of tests and see a lot of specialists. In just the past year, PetPlan has saved her life and her vision. I could never have afforded the out of pocket costs to properly diagnose and treat her, even though she's worth every penny. With PetPlan, I get to make decisions on what's best for her. Incidentally, I adopted a healthy pit bull puppy who at 8 months old, thought the stairs were a racetrack and slammed her knee into the hardwood at the bottom. She needed patella surgery. All covered by PetPlan. You just never know. Hopefully, you won't need it, but if you do, you'll be thanking your lucky stars. I've heard friends complain about their pet insurance, and I just can't relate. I've never had a problem, and when I do have a question, it's addressed immediately, and personally. I will NEVER go without coverage for my animals. And, friends that I've recommended have been so happy.
