I'm a medical doctor and know how difficult it can be to deal with insurance companies, so I think I can speak from experience. I tried a few other companies and just wasn't happy with how they handled the enrollment process. It was clear that when the time came to pay a claim they would have too many ways to wriggle out of paying. Pet Plan asks you to do wellness visits so they can ensure you have a healthy pet, and if not, they are specific about what they exclude and for how long. This is perfectly reasonable and fine. My pet had JUST finished a period of exclusion for a condition, and then a big bill happened. PetPlan paid just like they were supposed to. Love them!!!
