Greetings,
I am elated as to share my story about my pride and joy, a German Shepherd Dog nicknamed "Stubby." This fellow was all that I had hoped for as the breeder of this litter. I raised Stubby from birth. He comes from German working lines, and I was excited about raising him to compete in the sport of Schutzhund. Well we suceeded and excelled in all three phases of the sport: Tracking, Obedience and Protection work. In fact beautiful Stubby went on the win the distinction of High in Trial at the AKC National Cup Working Dog Sport Championship. He took High score in all three phases individually as well that year.
In addition he wrangled a 5th place spot in the Bred by Exhibitor Class at the German Shepherd National Specialty Show, not to mention this was his first Conformation Show entry in his life.

A trip to the dentist revealed 3 fractured teeth that required root canals and restorations. That bill came to a whopping $ 4,678.85.

Pet Plan reimbursed us for $ 3,488.68 for this dental work ! Was I surprised and relieved. Stubby was no longer able to participate in the Protection work required for the sport of Schutzhund. Happily he has changed ve
