I have had a difficult six months or so as a cat owner. Jack's urinary tract issue appeared suddenly with life-threatening symptoms and required emergency surgery, while his daughter Penelope's heart murmur was worrisome and called for further diagnosis. Jack recovered and is now on a special diet, and Penelope has a minor heart defect that, if we're lucky, won't give her any trouble. I have the Gold Plan for both cats (I find the annual premiums very reasonable), and PetPlan has come through wonderfully, promptly paying over $2,000 total for my respective claims. I have found them to be very honest, pleasant to deal with, and professional -- everything I could ask for in a pet insurer.
