I had a policy for my Golden Retriever with PetPlan for a couple of years. In September 2010, I received a letter from PetPlan that the policy was canceled due to non-payment when the policy was up for renewal in late August. Typically, a reminder would be sent to customer at renewal time. However, no one from PetPlan contacted me about renewal. I contacted PetPlan about the cancellation letter and to have the policy reinstated. I am basically told that it's too bad and I will have to start a new policy. At that point, I decided to ditch PetPlan because of its poor business practice.
