To say my Cocker Spaniel puppy Barclay is hyper is an understatement. so when he started to limp on and not put any weith on his hind leg, I assumed he had just sprained it running around wildly. After several days the limp didn't get better. So off to the vet we go. Barclay is so hyper the vet couldn't get an acurate weight, take his temperture, or listen to his heart. Getting Barclay to stand still for an x-ray was not going to happen. The vet had to sedate him to get the x-ray. After all was said and done Barclay had a tear in his ACL. This was my first claim to petplan so I called to ask what I needed to do. A very nice person answered all my question, told me how to fill out the forms and what I needed from my vet. Petplan sent me an eamil to inform me they received my claim, however I had forgot to include one form. I faxed the form and seven days later the check was in my mail box. I really like the explanation of what was covered and what was not. With Barclay's energy level I'm sure this will not be last PetPlan experience.
